Superbly crafted by our ‘Bach-Ambassador’ Robert Macfarlane, 'The Triumph of Telemann' (... and the genesis of the German Cantata) is a program of German music that precedes Bach. Musically varied and interesting, Robert (tenor) is joined by his wife Kate Macfarlane (soprano), David Irving and Lizzy Welsh (violin), Laura Vaughan (viola da gamba) and David Macfarlane (harpsichord/organ).
